Shougang Macheng Mining is located in Luannan County, Hebei Province, with a mining area of 10.08 square kilometers. It is a super-large Anshan-type sedimentary metamorphic iron ore deposit, with a resource reserve of 995 million mt and a total of 17 ore bodies. Upon completion and operation, the annual production of iron ore will reach 22 million mt.

Huawei said their products can be used for sodium battery cathode materials, with an expected total production capacity of 72,000 tons.
