The four parties have clear divisions of labor: FAW is responsible for car model development and after-sales support, CAES is responsible for battery asset operation and recycling, Contemporary Amperex Technology Xiaoju New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. provides digital operation support for battery swapping stations, and Longsheng New Energy is responsible for local infrastructure construction and vehicle promotion. In May 2025, China Dongfeng Motor Industry Import & Export Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Dongfeng Motor Group, delivered the first 30 units out of the initial batch of 89 50-mt dump trucks to the Chalco Boffa Bauxite Project in Guinea, completing the delivery 20 days ahead of schedule. This project is a key initiative for China and Guinea to jointly develop bauxite resources, and the vehicles will be used for bauxite mining and transportation. Dongfeng Motor also plans to establish specialized service stations near the project site to provide round-the-clock technical support and maintenance services, ensuring the efficient operation of the equipment.
