Customs data shows that China’s export volume of silicon metal in December 2023 was 52,000 mt, a year-on-year increase of 8% and a month-on-month increase of 7%.

According to customs data, the total export volume of Chinese silicon metal in September was 51,300 mt, up 18% MoM and 4% YoY.

According to customs data, China silicon metal exports in March 2023 were 48,000 mt, up 1% MoM but down 33% YoY. Exports totalled 147,200 mt from January to March, a decrease of 18% YoY.

The global economy is slowing down. Consumption in overseas automobiles, real estate and other industries is sluggish.
