Bosai Group’s Damei Company High-Aluminum Refractory Clinker Project Officially Started Trial Production This project is a major initiative following Bosai Group’s industrial restructuring in the Nanchuan segment and a powerful engine for Nanchuan District’s development of a high-end refractory materials industrial park. Covering an area of 218 mu, the project has a total investment of 1.3 billion yuan and will build an annual 400,000 mt high-aluminum refractory clinker production line along with supporting facilities. The project is planned in a single overall plan and implemented in phases; Phase I, an annual 200,000 mt production line, was completed in H2 2025.

On the morning of February 26, the high-alumina clinker project implemented by Damei Company officially commenced trial production. This project is a major industry following the industrial restructuring of the Bosai Group's Nanchuan division, and a powerful engine for Nanchuan District's development of a high-end refractory materials industrial park. The project covers 218 acres, with a total investment of 1.3 billion yuan, and will construct a high-alumina clinker production line with an annual output of 400,000 tons, along with supporting facilities. The project is planned in one phase but implemented in stages, with the first phase, a 200,000-ton-per-year production line, scheduled for completion in the second half of 2025.

Chongqing Bosai Mining (Group) Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as Bosai Group) plans to invest in the construction of an aluminum project locally, with the investment amount preliminarily finalized at approximately $1.5 billion (about 10.5 billion yuan).

Bosai Group's comprehensive aluminum utilization project in Wanzhou, with a total investment of 5.2 billion yuan, is being implemented by Chongqing Gaofeng New Material Technology Co., Ltd. The 250,000-ton-per-year aluminum plate, strip, and foil project is one of the three sub-projects within this comprehensive aluminum utilization project. The 250,000-ton-per-year aluminum plate, strip, and foil project has a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan and is planned to be implemented in two phases: Phase I (150,000 tons) and Phase II (100,000 tons). The project mainly involves the construction of aluminum smelting, casting, rolling, cold rolling, heat treatment, and finishing production lines, as well as supporting auxiliary facilities and environmental protection facilities. Ma Ying, Vice General Manager of Bosai Group and General Manager of Chongqing Gaofeng New Material Technology Co., Ltd., stated that the steel structure plant is expected to be completed in two months, and the equipment installation and commissioning phase is expected to begin in early March. Phase I of the aluminum plate, strip, and foil project is expected to be completed and put into operation by the end of June this year.
