According to TISCO (Shanxi Taigang), its independently developed SUS630 precipitation-hardening stainless steel cold-rolled plates are now being supplied steadily to domestic Printed Circuit Board (PCB) manufacturers. Throughout the recent holiday period, the company's R&D and production teams maintained strict quality control to ensure the material meets the rigorous standards required for 5G communications, automotive electronics, and medical devices. As a core material for the hot lamination process in PCB manufacturing, SUS630 was long dependent on foreign imports; however, TISCO has now become the only stable domestic supplier, successfully breaking the technical blockade.

[Special Steel Price Adjustment] SMM February 25: A large domestic special steel enterprise adjusted its product selling prices for March 2026 as follows on a MoM basis: 1. Bar, commercial billet, forged material: raised by 100 yuan/mt; 2. Flat steel: raised by 200 yuan/mt; 3. Steel plate: raised by 50 yuan/mt; 4. Wire rod, steel pipe: unchanged; 5. Molybdenum-containing steel: raised by 300 yuan/mt for each 1% Mo content; 6. Tungsten-containing steel: raised by 3,500 yuan/mt for each 1% W content. This price adjustment takes effect from February 26, 2026.

Recently, the R&D of Jinye Huaxi Special Steel's medium-thickness plate Q355ND has been successfully completed. The product specifications cover 12–50 × 2,000–2,500 mm, with all performance indicators meeting the requirements of the GB/T1591-2018 standard, and some key parameters surpassing those of similar international products. This marks a significant breakthrough for Huaxi Special Steel in the field of low-alloy high-strength steel. The Q355ND steel plate exhibits excellent weldability, cold formability, and fatigue resistance, making it suitable for widespread application in various high-end fields such as building construction, bridge construction, marine engineering, energy equipment, and rail transportation.

Steel demand in the Middle East increased by 2.8% year on year to 59.5 million tons in 2025. The main demand are derive from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) In the first three quarters of 2025, Saudi Arabia and the UAE imported 4.06 million tons and 4.24 million tons of Chinese steel, increasing by 24.5% and 10.7% year on year, respectively. The UAE's steel imports from China are primarily used in construction, accounting for 70% of the total. Rebar constitutes 40% to 50%, wire rod 20% to 25%, and steel plate 15% to 20%. These products are primarily used in real estate and infrastructure projects, rebar processing, and the production of small components, as well as in steel structures for industrial plants and plazas. Some market participants indicated that China's steel exports are seeing robust demand in the Middle Eastern market, especially accelerated by policies and infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
