According to SMM data, on August 17, the FOB price of Indonesian MHP nickel fell by $13/mt in metal content from the previous day, and the FOB price of Indonesian MHP cobalt fell by $2,417/mt Co. The FOB price of Indonesian high-grade nickel matte fell by $32/mt in metal content.

To date, the FOB price of Indonesian MHP nickel was $14,977/mt Ni, and the FOB price of Indonesian MHP cobalt was $42,179/mt Co. MHP payables (against the SMM battery-grade nickel sulphate index) were 82-83, and the payable indicator for MHP cobalt element (against SMM refined cobalt (Rotterdam warehouse)) was 80. The FOB price of Indonesian high-grade nickel matte was $15,491/mt Ni.

Downstream acceptance remained weak, and nickel intermediate product payables were in the doldrums this week.

According to SMM data, on August 14, the FOB price of Indonesian MHP nickel fell $93/mt Ni from the previous day, and the FOB price of Indonesian MHP cobalt fell $589/mt Co. The FOB price of Indonesian high-grade nickel matte rose $18/mt Ni.

According to SMM data, on August 13, the FOB price of nickel in Indonesian MHP fell $35/mt Ni from the previous day, and the FOB price of cobalt in Indonesian MHP fell $1,436/mt Co. The FOB price of Indonesian high-grade nickel matte fell $36/mt Ni.

As of now, the FOB price of Indonesian MHP nickel is $15,083/mt Ni, and the FOB price of Indonesian MHP cobalt is $45,185/mt Co. MHP payables (against the SMM battery-grade nickel sulphate index) stand at 83.5-84.5, and MHP cobalt payables (against SMM refined cobalt (Rotterdam warehouse)) stand at 86. The FOB price of Indonesian high-grade nickel matte is $15,505/mt Ni.
