Xinglv’s 100,000 mt Aluminum-Based New Materials Project Commences Operations Recently, the Nanning Industrial Investment Aluminum-Based New Materials Group’s Xinglv company, located in the Kunlun Industrial Park, Xingning District, Nanning, successfully commenced operations for its project with an annual capacity of 100,000 mt of high-precision battery aluminum foil and 70,000 mt of can-end tab stock. As a core project of the aluminum-based new materials industrial park being developed as a key initiative in Xingning District, the project—featuring an annual capacity of 100,000 mt of high-precision battery aluminum foil and 70,000 mt of can-end tab stock—has a total investment of approximately 1.62 billion yuan.

Wanshun New Material (300057.SZ) stated during an institutional survey that the high-dyne battery aluminum foil independently developed by the company features a high and stable dyne value, which enhances the adhesion between the slurry and the aluminum foil in subsequent processing, improves coating uniformity, reduces resistance, and consequently increases the battery's charge-discharge efficiency and cycle stability. It is also suitable for applications such as sodium-ion battery anodes and cathodes. The high-dyne battery aluminum foil has entered the small-batch supply stage.

Recently, the signing ceremony for the high-performance battery aluminum foil project between Sichuan Yibin Sanjiang New Area and Anhui Jinyu Co., Ltd. was held. It is reported that Anhui Jinyu Materials Co., Ltd. specializes in the R&D and processing of aluminum series alloy materials. The company currently operates two entities—Tongling Jinyu Aluminum-Based New Materials Company and Anhui Jinyu Materials Co., Ltd.—with three factory sites spanning nearly 500 acres and employing approximately 1,200 staff. Its main products include air conditioner aluminum foil and new energy battery aluminum foil.

DI Dongil disclosed on the 11th that it plans to invest KRW 110 billion to build production facilities for carbon-coated aluminum foil used in LFP (lithium iron phosphate) batteries at its Cheongju aluminum plant, which is scheduled for completion this year. The investment will be carried out in phases from February this year through 2030, covering land acquisition, construction, and equipment installation. The investment amount for this year is set at KRW 20 billion.

Recently, the project with an annual output of 200,000 mt of flat ingots for new energy battery aluminum foil has officially landed in Long'an County, Nanning City, contributing to the clustering and growth of Nanning's aluminum deep-processing industry.It is reported that the 630 million yuan new energy aluminum-based materials project has landed in Nanning, pioneering a collaborative innovation system of "green electricity-driven - secondary aluminum utilization - high-precision material manufacturing." Upon reaching full production, the project will create over 150 new jobs annually, produce high-precision aluminum-based materials worth 4.2 billion yuan annually, and contribute over 24 million yuan in annual taxes. The project fills the technological gap in regional aluminum deep-processing, achieving self-sufficiency in the core materials for new energy battery aluminum foil and establishing an "raw material - processing - application" industry chain model.
