On March 14, 2026, the Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade of Ukraine issued a notice stating that, pursuant to Resolution No. AD-598/2026/441-01 of the Commission dated March 10, 2026, it had made an affirmative final ruling in the third sunset review of the antidumping measures on steel wire ropes and cables originating in China, and decided to continue imposing antidumping duties on the products concerned for another five years at an unchanged rate of 123. The period of investigation in this case was from January 1, 2022 to March 31, 2025. The Ukrainian tariff codes of the products concerned were 7312 10 49 00, 7312 10 81 00, 7312 10 83 00, 7312 10 98 00, and 7312 10 65 00. The measures took effect from the date of publication of the notice. On August 17, 2007, Ukraine initiated an antidumping investigation into steel wire ropes and cables originating in China. On July 23, 2008, pursuant to Resolution No. AD-183/2008/143-48 of the Ukrainian Commission, Ukraine began imposing antidumping duties on the Chinese products concerned. Thereafter, Ukraine conducted two sunset reviews, and made affirmative rulings and extended the duty period on September 19, 2014 and May 28, 2020, respectively. On August 24, 2022, the Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade of Ukraine issued a notice amending the product description of Chinese steel wire ropes and cables as determined in Resolution No. AD-183/2008/143-48 dated July 23, 2008. Mar 18, 2026 13:44[SMM News] SMM reported on June 12 that the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) issued an official announcement on June 4, 2025, deciding to terminate the administrative review of the antidumping duty order on stainless steel coil and sheet imported from Belgium. The period of review for this investigation was from May 1, 2023, to April 30, 2024. The preliminary findings of the US Department of Commerce indicated that Aperam Stainless Belgium (ASB) did not sell the products in question at prices below normal value during the review period. In addition, based on an analysis of data from the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP), ArcelorMittal Gent, Phoenix Steel, Heraclesa, and Belgian Industrial Steel did not have any import records of the products in question during the review period.

It ruled that the anti-dumping duties for Baoshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. and WISCO-Nippon Steel Tinplate Co., Ltd. would both be 13.1%, for Shougang Jingtang United Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. would be 46.8%, for other cooperating enterprises (see the attachment in the original text for details) would be 24.6%, and for other companies would be 62.3%. The EU Combined Nomenclature (CN) codes for the products in question are 7210 11 00, 7210 12, ex 7210 70, 7210 90 40, ex 7210 90 80, 7212 10, and ex 7212 40 (with TARIC codes 7210701015, 7210708020, 7210708092, 7210908020, 7212402010, 7212408012, 7212408030, 7212408080, and 7212408085). May 30, 2025 15:44On May 21, 2025, the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism of Colombia issued Notice No. 121 in the Official Gazette, making a preliminary anti-dumping determination on welded pipes [Spanish: tubería soldada, de sección circular, de hierro o acero, de los tipos utilizados en la protección de cables eléctricos, de un diámetro nominal mayor o igual a 12.7 mm (1/2”) y menor o igual a 152.4 mm (6”) –Tubería Conduit] originating in China. It was preliminarily decided to impose provisional anti-dumping measures in the form of a minimum price. When the customs-declared FOB price of the products under investigation is lower than the minimum price, i.e., $1,019.50/mt, a provisional anti-dumping duty equivalent to the difference between the minimum price and the customs-declared price will be levied. The measures took effect on the date of publication of the notice in the Official Gazette and will remain valid for four months. It decided to terminate the anti-dumping investigation and not impose anti-dumping measures. The Colombian tariff codes for the products in question are 7005.29.10.00 and 7005.29.90.00.
