Guo Shougang, Deputy Director General and First-Level Inspector of the First Department of Equipment Industry at the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, stated at a special press conference held by the State Administration for Market Regulation on the 4th that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will continue to thoroughly implement the requirements of the National Standardization Development Outline and the NEV Industry Development Plan (2021–2035), among others. It will accelerate the development of key standards in areas such as driving automation, crash safety, and control components, promoting the enhancement of automotive safety levels and quality performance through standard upgrades, thereby laying a solid foundation for the high-quality and sustainable development of the industry.

Recently, Shougang Group’s Tonggang Steelmaking Division made new progress in the production of high-end welded bottle steel HP295, successfully overcoming the challenge of mass-producing an extreme specification with a width of 1,435 millimeters and a thickness of 0.0023 meters. This achievement marks a breakthrough in the company’s process control and capacity for thin-gauge products.
