The most active SHFE lead contract opened at $2289/mt last Friday and fluctuated upward to hit the highest price at $2307/mt, the highest in six months, before closing at $2302.5/mt, up 0.46%.

Overnight, LME lead opened at US$2137.5/ton. Amid the interest rate cut remarks by former Federal Reserve officials, the US dollar index continued to weaken, non-ferrous metal sectors generally rose, and LME lead also showed an upward trend throughout the day

Overnight, LME zinc prices opened at US$2,500/ton and dropped to a low of US$2,494/ton during European trading, finally closing at US$2,523/ton, up US$21.5/ton, or 0.86%. Trading volume decreased to 6211 lots, and open interest decreased by 6957 lots to 221,000 lots.

Overnight, LME lead prices opened at US$2,096.5/ton. LME lead inventory surged by 67,300 tons to 267,000 tons, and LME lead prices plummeted to as low as US$2,062.5/ton, and finally closed at US$2,070/ton, a decrease of 1.19%.

Overnight, LME lead prices opened at US$2,088/ton. LME lead inventory increased by 4,775 tons, approaching the 200,000 tons mark. At the same time, the U.S. dollar index continued to strengthen. Under dual pressure, LME lead prices fell to as low as US$2074/ton. The contract finally closed at $2095/mt, a rise of 0.36%.

LME lead opened at $2110/mt last Friday and fell by 0.38% to close at $2100/mt, after hitting the lowest point at $2095/mt and the highest point at $2139.5/mt.
