Tianci Materials announced that Phase II of its project for 30,000 tpy lithium hexafluorophosphate (LiPF6), 6,000 tpy high-purity lithium fluoride and integrated supporting facilities has completed construction, equipment installation and commissioning. The trial production plan has passed expert review and trial operations are expected to commence shortly. The Phase II project is designed to add 15,000 tpy of LiPF6 capacity. Upon commissioning, the company's total LiPF6 production capacity will increase to 52,000 tpy.

Tianji Industry announced that in the first quarter of 2026, it achieved operating revenue of 990 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 91.15%. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was 197 million yuan, turning from a loss in the same period last year to a profit. The performance change was mainly due to the rapid price increase of the company's main product, lithium hexafluorophosphate, in the fourth quarter of 2025. Although the price fell back in this quarter, benefiting from the company's relatively low overall costs and increased sales volume, its revenue and profit for the quarter grew significantly year-on-year.

On April 22, the Sanming Ecological Environment Bureau accepted and publicly noticed the construction project of "Fujian Sanming Runxiang New Materials Co., Ltd. Lithium Hexafluorophosphate and Electronic Grade Lithium (Sodium) Fluoride." The project will be built at the existing site, within the same land scope and general layout, producing 500 tons/year of lithium hexafluorophosphate, 800 tons/year of lithium fluoride, and 200 tons/year of sodium fluoride.

On April 15, Tianji Shares disclosed its 2025 annual report. In 2025, Tianji Shares achieved total operating revenue of 2.963 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 43.28%; and a net profit attributable to the parent of 82.1813 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 106.08%. Tianji Shares stated that during the reporting period, production and sales volumes of its fluorine chemical products, primarily lithium hexafluorophosphate, and its phosphorus chemical products, primarily sodium hypophosphite, both increased significantly. By product category, Tianji Shares produced 39,567.53 tons of lithium hexafluorophosphate, sold 40,061.56 tons, and generated revenue of 2.203 billion yuan from this product, a year-on-year increase of 60.52%.

Recycling Industry Events This Week (December. 29-31)

On March 6th, the record-filing for a 60,000-ton-per-year lithium hexafluorophosphate project was announced by a company in Yichang, Hubei. The project covers an area of 244 mu and involves the construction of synthesis workshops, electrolyte workshops, purification workshops, cleaning workshops, and supporting auxiliary production facilities. It will establish one production unit for lithium hexafluorophosphate (solid salt) and one for electrolyte, along with acid-alkali tank farms and electrolyte storage tanks. Upon completion, the project will achieve an annual output of 60,000 tons of lithium hexafluorophosphate and 200,000 tons of electrolyte.
