On March 27, Dongxing Aluminum achieved its production targets for key products such as electrolytic aluminum, aluminum coils, and aluminum rods in the first quarter. Among them, the output of electrolytic aluminum was 425,800 tons, aluminum coils were 160,100 tons, and aluminum rods were 30,200 tons. The electrolytic cell operation rate reached a maximum of 99.9%, and the on-site conversion rate of molten aluminum reached 95.7%.

National Aluminium Company (NALCO) reported that its 130 kWp rooftop solar project in the Damanjodi mining area had officially commenced operations. Meanwhile, the smelter's 960 electrolytic cells continued to operate at full capacity, with an annual operating scale of approximately 460,000 mt. At present, NALCO is expected to add 500,000-600,000 mt of aluminum capacity. The project is currently in the feasibility study and environmental impact assessment (EIA) stage; however, its progress is constrained by the construction schedule of the power plant.

Recently, the first prebaked anode electrolytic cell in the electrolysis workshop of the Tongliao Zalhaner 350,000 mt green power aluminum project (Phase II of Zhalhaner Aluminum) undertaken by the Sixth Metallurgical Construction Corporation of China passed the acceptance inspection smoothly, laying a technical foundation for the subsequent fabrication and installation of 70 electrolytic cells and achieving a phased breakthrough in the project construction.
