Recently, the first-phase project of a 14,400 10kt annual green hydrogen production base in Alashan High-tech Zone successfully obtained approval. This project, invested in and constructed by Junrui Green Hydrogen (Alashan League) Energy Co., Ltd., involves a total investment of 974 million yuan. It will utilize renewable energy electrolysis water hydrogen production technology to establish a regional green hydrogen production site.
Project Location Confirmed, Core Indicators Clear
It is reported that the project is located in Alashan High-tech Industrial Park, Alashan Economic Development Zone, Alashan League, focusing on large-scale green hydrogen production. The project primarily involves constructing one electrolysis water hydrogen production station with an annual hydrogen production capacity of 14,400 10kt. The system will be equipped with 40 alkaline electrolyzers each with a capacity of 1000 Nm³/h and 14 hydrogen storage tanks each with a capacity of 2000 m³, among other core equipment. Auxiliary facilities such as a power distribution station, demineralized water treatment system, circulating cooling water system, and hydrogen transmission system will also be constructed to ensure stable and efficient operation throughout the entire green hydrogen production process.
Construction Timeline Set, Completion Expected in 2028
The project is scheduled to commence construction in April 2026 and is expected to be completed in March 2028. Upon completion, it will further enhance the green hydrogen capacity of Alashan High-tech Zone, providing crucial support for the transformation of the regional energy structure and the improvement of the hydrogen industry chain, thereby contributing to the achievement of the "dual carbon" goals.
