Today in North China, spot prices of #1 copper cathode against the front-month contract were at a discount of 160-120 yuan/mt, with an average discount of 140 yuan/mt, unchanged from the previous trading day. Transaction prices ranged from 86,490-86,710 yuan/mt, with an average price of 86,600 yuan/mt, up 30 yuan/mt from the previous trading day. The market showed no significant fluctuations, mainly driven by long-term contract execution and just-in-time procurement. Spot trading activity between upstream and downstream remained low, and spot premiums/discounts held steady. Today in North China, the purchase sentiment for copper cathode was 2.07, down 0.01 from the previous trading day, while the sales sentiment was 1.77, up 0.02 from the previous trading day ().
