On October 22, the 9th China (Foshan) International Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Exhibition (CHFE2025) opened at the Qiaoshan Cultural Center. The State Hydrogen Technology booth (C03-71) attracted robust interest, where the company launched the new "Hydrogen Rise LITE" fuel cell system, specifically designed for medium- to long-haul intercity refrigerated trucks, injecting new momentum into green cold chain transportation.
The "Hydrogen Rise LITE" fuel cell system combines the advantages of high performance, low cost, and a high degree of localisation,with core breakthroughsmanifested in four aspects:
- achieving "raw material-level" localisation and self-sufficiency, eliminating external dependence;
- significant efficiency leap, with rated point efficiency increased by over 15%;
- optimised and upgraded structure, reducing system weight by 45 kg;
- and substantial cost restructuring, with the system price reduced by over 40%, making it comprehensively suitable for the demands of medium- to long-haul cold chain transport scenarios.
In 2025, State Hydrogen Technology achieved fruitful results, with landmark applications continuously being deployed:
- For major event support, it successfully provided services for the 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, demonstrating the technical capability of the "national team" with zero-error hydrogen energy transportation support;
- in terms of large-scale application, the world's largest single-unit green ammonia project—the Daan Wind and Solar Power Green Hydrogen and Ammonia Synthesis Integrated Project—officially commenced operation, marking China's entry into a new era of large-scale green hydrogen application;
- for real-vehicle validation, it participated in the world's first "Ten-Thousand-Mile Hydrogen Vehicle Journey," where a 4.5 mt refrigerated truck equipped with the "Hydrogen Rise" fuel cell traversed north, central, east, and south China, providing the industry with its first large-scale operational case study.
