The SMM #1 lead average price rose by 25 yuan/mt WoW to 16,750 yuan/mt today. Secondary refined lead supplies in east and north China maintained parity with the SMM #1 lead average price ex-works, while discounts in Guangxi, Hunan and nearby regions stood at around 100 yuan/mt. The mainstream tax-excluded prices were 15,650-15,700 yuan/mt. Downstream enterprises showed moderate inquiry willingness, making just-in-time procurement only. The secondary refined lead procurement sentiment was 0.6 today, while the sales sentiment was 0.79 (historical data is available in the database).
