The SMM #1 lead average price rose by 75 yuan/mt to 16,675 yuan/mt compared with yesterday. The enthusiasm of secondary refined lead suppliers for selling remained relatively small, with few and still firm spot orders. Mainstream tax-inclusive quotations were at premiums of 0~25 yuan/mt against the SMM #1 lead average price for cargoes self-picked up from production site, while some factory pick-up sources were around a discount of 25 yuan/mt. Tax-excluded factory pick-up sources were quoted at 15,600-15,700 yuan/mt. Downstream battery producers purchased on rigid demand, favoring the primary lead market for spot orders, making refined lead transactions difficult. Today's purchasing sentiment for secondary refined lead was 0.26, and the selling sentiment was 1.04 (historical data can be accessed in the database).
