Today, the SMM #1 lead average price increased by 50 yuan/mt from yesterday to 16,750 yuan/mt. The ex-factory prices of mainstream tax-included secondary refined lead supplies in regions such as Jiangsu, Henan, and Sichuan were at a premium of 50 yuan/mt against the SMM #1 lead average price, with some supplies available at an 80 yuan/mt premium for nearby delivery. The mainstream prices without tax ranged from 15,800 to 15,850 yuan/mt. The willingness to sell among secondary lead smelters improved, but due to limited spot order volumes, transactions were not numerous. Downstream buyers purchased on demand, resulting in generally average overall transactions.
