SMM, January 14: Today, the SMM 1# lead average price dropped by 125 yuan/mt from the previous day to 16,475 yuan/mt. Secondary lead was quoted at premiums of 0-100 yuan/mt against the SMM 1# lead average price on an ex-factory basis, with quotations in Anhui at a premium of 100 yuan/mt ex-factory and in Henan at a premium of 75 yuan/mt. The ex-factory prices of tax-free refined lead in the market were reported at 15,650-15,750 yuan/mt. Suppliers followed market trends, while downstream enterprises showed insufficient purchasing interest.
