Thank you for your long-term support and trust in the SMM Steel Research Team. To continuously enhance the rigor and market representativeness of data points, we are expanding our iron ore production data in the SMM database by adding iron ore production data for 10 key iron ore-producing countries worldwide. The data update frequency remains annual, with specific updates taking place at 12:00 PM on June 30 each year.
The new indicators will be displayed in the following hierarchy: Ferrous Metals > Iron Ore > Production > Iron Ore Production Data for Major Global Countries.
The newly added countries include:

These additions will officially take effect on July 30, 2026. After the effective date, you can view the latest data at data-pro.smm.cn or via the SMM Database Terminal.
