Philippine nickel ore supply is significantly affected by mine production, seasonal rainfall, typhoons and shipment schedules, while changes in demand from the Philippines, China, Indonesia and other markets continue to shape nickel ore trade flows and the overall supply-demand balance.
To further enhance SMM's overseas nickel ore database and improve transparency in Philippine nickel ore supply, regional demand and trade flows, SMM officially launched its Quarterly Philippines Nickel Ore Supply-Demand Balance data on September 30, 2026.
