To more accurately reflect the actual transaction prices of Chinese TOPCon solar cell exports to the Indonesian market, and to further improve the transparency and comparability of solar cell price information in export markets, SMM will officially add the price "Monocrystalline TOPCon Solar Cell (G12R) - CIF Indonesia" effective September 4, 2026. The addition follows continuous market research and a thorough review of actual trading conditions along the supply chain.
The new price point is intended to reflect CIF transaction prices for G12R-format TOPCon solar cells exported from China to major Indonesian ports, providing solar cell producers, traders, module manufacturers and other market participants with a more granular reference for export market price levels.
Details of the price point are as follows:
- Price point name: Monocrystalline TOPCon Solar Cell (G12R) - CIF Indonesia
- Price type: Export solar cell price
- Price definition: Monocrystalline TOPCon Solar Cell (G12R) - CIF Indonesia refers to the CIF price of G12R-format monocrystalline TOPCon solar cells exported from China to major Indonesian ports, reflecting the level of actual transaction prices in the market that meet the requirements of SMM's price methodology. The CIF price includes the value of the goods, insurance and ocean freight to major Indonesian ports. It does not include Indonesian import duties, customs clearance charges or local taxes and fees.
