To further enhance the rigor and market representativeness of our data points, we are expanding the global ferrosilicon production data in the SMM database backend terminal: adding 27 ferrosilicon production data points covering multiple countries and regions worldwide. The data update frequency remains annual (specifically, updates are published at 12:00 PM on June 30 each year).
The newly added indicators will be displayed under the following location:
Ferrous Metals > Ferrosilicon > Production
Newly added countries and regions include:
China, Russia, Norway, Brazil, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Bhutan, India, Iceland, Poland, Ukraine, South Africa, Spain, France, Canada, Egypt, Slovakia, South Korea, Argentina, North Macedonia, Venezuela, Paraguay, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkey, the United States, Other Countries, and Global Total.
The above additions will take effect on August 30, 2026. Upon effectiveness, you may view the latest data at data-pro.smm.cn or through the SMM Database Terminal.
