Overview:At 10:00 am, SMM's Ag(T+D) price from the Shanghai Gold Exchange was 14,078 yuan/kg. The premium/discount range was quoted at TD -5 to +5 yuan/kg, averaging 0 yuan/kg. In the spot market, premium/discount transactions held steady in the parity range. Some cargoes from major brands leaned toward premium quotes, but downstream willingness to trade at a premium was weak, so actual transactions skewed toward the low end. Month-end invoice factors have not yet had a significant impact, and banks' low-price purchases caused minor disruptions to the market. Morning quotes in Shanghai were mainly between TD parity and +5 yuan/kg. Suppliers concentrated shipments at the beginning of the week and showed little willingness to quote today. In Shenzhen, some national-standard cargoes were quoted around TD -5 yuan/kg to parity. Although low-priced cargoes existed, they did not cause significant disruption to spot trade. Today, the market's premium against the most-traded SHFE 2610 contract was quoted at -60 to -50 yuan/kg.
Upstream: Sold all to rigid demand clients at the 2610 contract premium -65 yuan, and will resume shipments next week.
Upstream: Shipments were made at premium 0, market consumption was moderate, and it is learned that other smelters also transacted near premium 0.
Trader: Quoted against the 2610 contract at -50 yuan, approximately equivalent to T+D premium 0; there were enquiries but essentially no deals
Trader: National standard brands quote T+D at a premium of 0
Trader: A major brand quoted at premiums of -10 yuan/mt against the SHFE 2608 contract
Trader: Today, some goods were received at parity.
